A RESOLUTION
Honoring the life and service of Robert "Bob" Bradley, Jr., who
valiantly committed himself to a lifelong pursuit of
protecting others, and extending condolences to those whose
lives were positively impacted by him.
WHEREAS, Robert "Bob" Bradley, Jr., was born June 7, 1971, in
Pittsburgh to Robert W. Bradley, Sr., and the late Judith Sack
Bradley; and
WHEREAS, On February 9, 2015, Mr. Bradley was on duty with
the State College Borough Police when he reportedly collapsed
around 12:30 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bradley was taken to the Mount Nittany Medical
Center where police and emergency medical personnel made every
effort to revive him; and
WHEREAS, Despite their best efforts, sadly, Mr. Bradley
passed away; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Bradley graduated from Bellefonte High School in
1989; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bradley proceeded to earn his bachelor of
science degree in administration of justice in 1993 from The
Pennsylvania State University; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bradley later attended Indiana University of
Pennsylvania's Municipal Police Training Academy where he
graduated as class valedictorian in 1995; and
WHEREAS, Most recently, Mr. Bradley earned his Juris Doctor
in 2007 from Widener University School of Law; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bradley was a proud member of Theta Delta Chi,
the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and the Centre County Bar
Association; and
WHEREAS, While serving for 19 years as a police officer for
State College Borough, Mr. Bradley was also a criminal justice
instructor at Kaplan University and a criminal procedures
instructor at the University of Phoenix, as well as an attorney
and counselor of law at the Law Office of Robert W. Bradley; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bradley loved spending time with his family,
riding ATVs, hunting and cooking; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bradley was a very devoted and supportive
husband and father; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bradley is survived by his wife, Jessica Poorman
Bradley, and their children, Bruce Poorman, Maison, Karsyn and
Robert "Brenden" Bradley, all of Bellefonte; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Bradley's life was honored on February 13, 2015,
and he will be laid to rest in the Meyer Cemetery in Benner
Township; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives honor the life
and service of Robert "Bob" Bradley, Jr., who valiantly

committed himself to a lifelong pursuit of protecting others,
and extend its condolences to those whose lives were positively
impacted by him; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be transmitted to
Mr. Bradley's family at 152 Willow Bend Drive, Bellefonte, PA
16823-7021.
