A RESOLUTION
Designating the week of February 8 through 14, 2015, as "Cardiac
Rehabilitation Week" in Pennsylvania.
WHEREAS, The American Association of Cardiovascular and
Pulmonary Rehabilitation is observing Cardiac Rehabilitation
Week on February 8 through 14, 2015, with the theme "Cardiac
Rehabilitation: A Work of Heart"; and
WHEREAS, Coronary heart disease is the leading cause of death
in our nation and in this Commonwealth; and
WHEREAS, Designation and observation of "Cardiac
Rehabilitation Week" calls special attention to the dedicated
professionals who promote the dissemination of information about
coronary heart disease, its prevention and rehabilitation; and
WHEREAS, The dedicated cardiovascular specialists of this
Commonwealth and the strides made to conquer coronary heart

disease are deserving of great recognition; therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives designate the
week of February 8 through 14, 2015, as "Cardiac Rehabilitation
Week" in Pennsylvania.
