A RESOLUTION
Recognizing the 100th anniversary of Kiwanis International.
WHEREAS, According to its defining statement adopted in 2004,
Kiwanis International is a global organization of volunteers
dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a
time; and
WHEREAS, Founded on January 21, 1915, in Detroit, Michigan,
and with headquarters now in Indianapolis, Indiana, Kiwanis
International assembles the resources of service-minded and
community-minded individuals from 96 countries to address local
and worldwide issues; and
WHEREAS, Guided by six permanent "Objects of Kiwanis," as
adopted in 1924 and remaining unchanged through the decades,
