AN ACT
Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
Statutes, in hunting and furtaking, further providing for
unlawful acts concerning taking of furbearers.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Section 2361(a)(8) of Title 34 of the
Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
ยง 2361. Unlawful acts concerning taking of furbearers.
(a) General prohibitions.--Except as otherwise provided in
this title, it is unlawful for any person to:

(8) Use a pole trap, deadfall, poison, explosive,
chemical, leg-hold trap with teeth on the jaws or with a jaw
spread exceeding six and one-half inches, except for beaver
leg-hold traps that would be completely submerged underwater
and do not have a jaw spread exceeding seven and three-
fourths inches, or any device prohibited by regulation of the
commission.
