1Designating a bridge on that portion of SR 0056 over the Norfolk
2Southern Railroad and Tenth Street, Seward Borough,
3Westmoreland County, as the Clement J. Rolling Memorial
4Bridge.

5The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6hereby enacts as follows:

7Section 1. Clement J. Rolling Memorial Bridge.

8(a) Findings.--

9(1) Clement J. "Clem" Rolling was a life-long resident
10of Seward, Westmoreland County.

11(2) During his military career with the Army Air
12Reconnaissance Unit, Clem Rolling proudly served his country
13for nearly five years in the Pacific Campaign in World War
14II.

15(3) Clem Rolling was honored by the Seward Volunteer
16Fire Department in May 2013 for 50 years of volunteer
17service.

18(4) At the time of his death in May 2013, at the age of
1994, Clem Rolling was the oldest living veteran in Seward and

1had received several awards from his community for his
2military service.

3(b) Designation.--The bridge located on SR 0056 in Seward
4Borough, Westmoreland County, over the Norfolk Southern Railroad
5and Tenth Street is hereby designated the Clement J. Rolling
6Memorial Bridge.

7(c) Signs.---The Department of Transportation shall erect
8and maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the bridge
9to traffic in both directions on the bridge.

10Section 2. Effective date.

11This act shall take effect in 60 days.
