1Designating a bridge to be constructed on that portion of State
2Route 222 over the Amtrak rail lines in the City of
3Lancaster, Lancaster County, replacing the Lititz Pike
4Bridge, as the Thaddeus Stevens Bridge.

5The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6hereby enacts as follows:

7Section 1. Thaddeus Stevens Bridge.

8(a) Designation.--The bridge to be constructed on State
9Route 222 in the City of Lancaster, Lancaster County, over the
10Amtrak rail lines, replacing the Lititz Pike Bridge, is hereby
11designated as the Thaddeus Stevens Bridge.

12(b) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and
13maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the bridge to 
14traffic in both directions on the bridge.

15Section 2. Effective date.

16This act shall take effect in 60 days.
