4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1. The Lance Corporal Ryan J. Kovacicek, USMC, Exit.

7(a) Findings and declaration.--The General Assembly finds
8and declares as follows:

9(1) Lance Corporal Ryan J. Kovacicek served during
10Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was assigned to the 3rd
11Battalion, 25th Marine Regiment, 4th Marine Division, Marine
12Corps Reserve, Moundsville, West Virginia attached to
13Regimental Combat Team 2, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine
14Expeditionary Force (Forward).

15(2) Lance Corporal Kovacicek died on July 10, 2005,
16while conducting combat operations in Hit, Iraq.

17(b) Designation.--The Murtland Avenue Exit from Interstates
1879 and 70 onto State Route 19 in Washington, Washington County,

1is hereby designated as the Lance Corporal Ryan J. Kovacicek,
2USMC, Exit.

3(c) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and
4maintain appropriate signs to indicate the designation under
5subsection (a).

6Section 2. Effective date.

7This act shall take effect in 60 days.
