1Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2Statutes, in hunting and furtaking, further providing for
3unlawful devices and methods.

4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1. Section 2308(a) of Title 34 of the Pennsylvania
7Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a paragraph and the
8section is amended by adding a subsection to read:

9§ 2308. Unlawful devices and methods.

10(a) General rule.--Except as otherwise provided in this
11title, it is unlawful for any person to hunt or aid, abet,
12assist or conspire to hunt any game or wildlife through the use
13of:

15(9.2) Any drone for hunting or viewing wildlife during
16any lawful big game hunting season, at cervidae livestock
17operations under 3 Pa.C.S. (relating to Agriculture) and at

1commercial and noncommercial hunting grounds under section
22928 (relating to regulated hunting grounds permits).

4(d) Definition.--As used in this section, the term "drone"
5means a contrivance invented, used or designed for navigation of
6or flight in the air and that is unmanned or guided remotely.
7The term includes an unmanned aerial vehicle or unmanned aerial
8vehicle system.

9Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
