4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1. Section 1339 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7Consolidated Statutes is repealed:

8[§ 1339. Legislative plate.

9Upon application by a member or retired member of the General
10Assembly of the Commonwealth or the Congress of the United
11States, the department may issue special registration plates
12indicating that the vehicle is owned by a member or retired
13member of the Pennsylvania or United States Senate or House of
14Representatives, as appropriate.]

15Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
