1Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An
2act relating to the public school system, including certain
3provisions applicable as well to private and parochial
4schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the
5laws relating thereto," in Thaddeus Stevens College of
6Technology, further providing for appropriations.
12Section 1903.1-B. Appropriations.--Appropriations for the
13operation of the Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology shall
14have preferred status and be considered ordinary expenses of
15State government. Beginning in the 2014-2015 fiscal year, and in
16each fiscal year thereafter, the percentage increase in the
17appropriation amount provided to the Thaddeus Stevens College of
18Technology over the final appropriation amount provided to the
19Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in the immediately
3(1) The average percentage increase in the appropriation
4amounts in the next succeeding fiscal year over the final
5appropriation amounts in the immediately preceding fiscal year
6for the State-related institutions, to include The Pennsylvania
7State University, the University of Pittsburgh, Temple
8University and Lincoln University.
9(2) The percentage increase in the appropriation amount in
10the next succeeding fiscal year over the final appropriation
11amount in the immediately preceding fiscal year for community
12colleges, as defined in section 1901-A.
13(3) The percentage increase in the appropriation amount in
14the next succeeding fiscal year over the final appropriation
15amount in the immediately preceding fiscal year for the State
16System of Higher Education, as established in Article XX-A.
17Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
