AN ACT
1Designating a bridge on that portion of 17th Street over the
210th Street Expressway, City of Altoona, Blair County, as the
<-3Altoona Blair County Veterans Memorial Bridge.
4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:
6Section 1. <-Altoona Blair County Veterans Memorial Bridge.
7(a) Findings.--The 17th Street Bridge over the 10th Street
8Expressway, City of Altoona, Blair County is the point of
9assembly for and is crossed every year in the Altoona Veterans
10Day Parade.
11(b) Designation.--The bridge located on 17th Street in the
12City of Altoona, Blair County over the 10th Street Expressway is
13hereby designated the <-Altoona Blair County Veterans Memorial
14Bridge.
15(c) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and
1maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the bridge to
2traffic in both directions on the bridge.
3Section 2. Effective date.
4This act shall take effect in 60 days.
