1Designating a bridge on that portion of S.R. 3100 over
2Interstate 83 in Springfield Township, York County, as the
3Rodney P. Miller Memorial Bridge.

4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1. Rodney P. Miller Memorial Bridge.

7(a) Findings.--

8(1) Rodney Paul Miller, Fire Chief of the Loganville
9Fire Company in Loganville, York County, died on April 27,
102013, in the line of duty; and

11(2) Mr. Miller began his service as a Junior Volunteer
12Firefighter at 16 years of age, rising through the ranks to
13become 1st Assistant Fire Chief, and ultimately Chief in
142001.

15(3) Mr. Miller served his Commonwealth and community 
16with courage and distinction.

17(b) Designation.--The bridge located on S.R. 3100 over
18Interstate 83 in Springfield Township, York County, is hereby
19designated the Rodney P. Miller Memorial Bridge.

1(c) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and
2maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the bridge to
3traffic in both directions on the bridge.

4Section 2. Effective date.

5This act shall take effect in 60 days.
