3The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4hereby enacts as follows:

5Section 1. Chapter 5 of Title 34 of the Pennsylvania
6Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subchapter to read:

13§ 571. Establishment.

14The commission may create a coyote control incentive program
15to compensate properly licensed hunters and furtakers $25 for
16each coyote lawfully harvested.

17§ 572. Account.

1(a) Creation.--A special account is created within the Game
2Fund to fund payments under section 571 (relating to
3establishment) and a use under subsection (d).

4(b) Transfer.--The amount of $700,000 shall be annually
5transferred from the Game Fund to the special account for,
6except as provided under subsection (d), the coyote control
7incentive program.

8(c) Limit.--The total annual expenditures from the coyote
9control incentive program may not exceed the annual amount
10designated for the coyote control incentive program.

11(d) Remaining funds.--Funds remaining in the special account
12at the end of a fiscal year may be used for a purpose other than
13making a payment under section 571.

14§ 573. Regulations.

15The commission shall promulgate rules and regulations
16necessary for the implementation of this subchapter.

17Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
