AN ACT
1Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
2Consolidated Statutes, further providing for the offense of
3identity theft.
4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:
6Section 1. Section 4120(c)(2) of Title 18 of the
7Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8§ 4120. Identity theft.

10(c) Grading.--The offenses shall be graded as follows:

12(2) When a person commits an offense under subsection
13(a) and the victim of the offense is 60 years of age or older
14[or], a care-dependent person as defined in section 2713
15(relating to neglect of care-dependent person) or an
16individual under 18 years of age, the grading of the offense
17shall be one grade higher than specified in paragraph (1).
