1Amending Title 34 (Game) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2Statutes, further providing for resident license and fee

4The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5hereby enacts as follows:

6Section 1. Section 2706(b)(1) and (3) of Title 34 of the
7Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes are amended and the section
8is amended by adding a subsection to read:

9§ 2706. Resident license and fee exemptions.

11(b) Disabled veterans.--

12(1) Any resident disabled veteran of any war or armed
13conflict whose physical disability consists of the loss of
14one or more limbs, or the loss of the use of one or more
15limbs, or whose physical disability is considered [total] 40% 
16or greater and who meets all other qualifications of this

1title and is otherwise mentally and physically fit, shall be
2issued a regular hunting or furtaking license upon
3application to any county treasurer, without the payment of
4the license cost, if that person is domiciled in this
5Commonwealth. The disabled veteran shall be entitled to 
6archery and muzzleloader privileges, without the payment of 
7the license cost, if that person is domiciled in this

10(3) The applicant shall produce the applicant's
11discharge papers and a Department of Military and Veterans
12Affairs disability certification to the effect that the
13applicant suffers [total] 40% or greater physical disability.

15(h) Senior citizens.--A senior citizen who holds any of the
16following shall be entitled to archery and muzzleloader
17privileges without the payment of the license cost:

18(1) A senior resident hunting license or a senior
19lifetime resident hunting license.

20(2) A senior resident combination hunting and furtaking
21license or a senior lifetime resident combination hunting and
22furtaking license.

23Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
