INTRODUCED AS NONCONTROVERSIAL RESOLUTION UNDER RULE 35, APRIL 5, 2012  

A RESOLUTION

Designating May 12, 2012, as "Fibromyalgia Awareness Day" in

Pennsylvania.

WHEREAS, The observance of "National Fibromyalgia Awareness

Day" will occur on May 12, 2012; and

WHEREAS, The 2012 theme, "Make Fibromyalgia Visible," is the

rally cry for fibromyalgia patients and supporters to make their

collective voice heard; and

WHEREAS, Throughout the world, educational seminars, walks,

capitol days, wellness festivals and other events are organized

by local fibromyalgia support groups and organizations;

therefore be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives designate May 12,

2012, as "Fibromyalgia Awareness Day" in Pennsylvania.
