| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending Title 4 (Amusements) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated |
2 | Statutes, further providing for investigations and |
3 | enforcement. |
4 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
5 | hereby enacts as follows: |
6 | Section 1. Section 1517(a.1)(2) of Title 4 of the |
7 | Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended to read: |
8 | § 1517. Investigations and enforcement. |

10 | (a.1) Powers and duties of bureau.--The Bureau of |
11 | Investigations and Enforcement shall have the following powers |
12 | and duties: |

14 | (2) Investigate and review all applicants and |
15 | applications for a license, permit or registration. The |
16 | bureau shall be prohibited from disclosing any portion of a |
17 | background investigation report to any member prior to the |

1 | submission of the bureau's final background investigation |
2 | report relating to the applicant's suitability for licensure |
3 | to the board. The Office of Enforcement Counsel, on behalf of |
4 | the bureau, shall prepare the final background investigation |
5 | report for inclusion in a final report relating to the |
6 | applicant's suitability for licensure. Appended to each such |
7 | report shall be all information collected by the bureau that |
8 | relates to the applicant. |

10 | Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days. |
