REFERRED TO COMMITTEE ON GAMING OVERSIGHT, OCTOBER 4, 2011  

AN ACT

Amending Title 4 (Amusements) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated

Statutes, further providing for qualifications and

restrictions of Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board members.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1.  Section 1201(h) of Title 4 of the Pennsylvania

Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a paragraph to read:

§ 1201.  Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board established.

(h)  Qualifications and restrictions.--

* * *

(9.1)  No member may:

(i)  be an applicant or former applicant;

(ii)  be a principal of a licensed facility or

licensed entity; or

(iii)  have any ownership control in any affiliate,

intermediary, subsidiary or holding company thereof.

Section 2.  The addition of 4 Pa.C.S. § 1201(h)(9.1) shall

apply to members elected on or after the effective date of this

section.

Section 3.  This act shall take effect in 60 days.
