AN ACT

Amending Title 51 (Military Affairs) of the Pennsylvania

Consolidated Statutes, in veterans' organizations, providing
3
for municipal fee exemptions.

The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5
hereby enacts as follows:

Section 1. Title 51 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7
Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8
§ 9305. Municipal fee exemptions.
9
A municipality may not charge a participation or entry fee to
10
a veterans' service organization for participation in a parade
11
or function recognizing or celebrating any of the following
12
days:
13
(1) Memorial Day.
14
(2) Independence Day.
15
(3) Veterans' Day.
16
Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
