Designating a bridge on that portion of S.R. 4002, Clarence
Road, in Snow Shoe Township, Centre County, as the Clarence
Bridge of Freedom for All Veterans.
The General Assembly finds that:
(1) Snow Shoe Township, Centre County, has had many veterans
who have served and died for our country.
(2) Many of them have passed through the bridge on that
portion of S.R. 4002, Clarence Road, in the township.
(3) All of these veterans have given some service and some
of them have given all in service to their country.
(4) The bridge should be named for all of these veterans who
have served their country well.
The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1. Clarence Bridge of Freedom for All Veterans.
(a) Designation.--The bridge located on S.R. 4002, Clarence
Road, in Snow Shoe Township, Centre County, is hereby designated
the Clarence Bridge of Freedom for All Veterans.
(b) Signs.–-The Department of Transportation shall erect and
maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the bridge to
traffic in both directions on the bridge.
Section 2. Effective date.
This act shall take effect in 60 days.
