| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated |
2 | Statutes, further providing for removal of vehicle by or at |
3 | direction of police. |
4 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
5 | hereby enacts as follows: |
6 | Section 1. Section 3352 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania |
7 | Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read: |
8 | § 3352. Removal of vehicle by or at direction of police. |

10 | (e) Proof of parking violations prior to towing vehicles in |
11 | cities of the first class.--Prior to the removal of an illegally |
12 | parked vehicle in a city of the first class, under subsection |
13 | (c)(2) bearing a registration plate, current certificate of |
14 | inspection or vehicle identification number plate, the towing |
15 | company shall take a photograph of the vehicle to document the |
16 | violation for which the vehicle is being removed. |
17 | Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days. |
