| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An |
2 | act relating to the public school system, including certain |
3 | provisions applicable as well to private and parochial |
4 | schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the |
5 | laws relating thereto," further providing for collective |
6 | bargaining and employee contract reporting by school |
7 | districts. |
8 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
9 | hereby enacts as follows: |
10 | Section 1. The act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known |
11 | as the Public School Code of 1949, is amended by adding sections |
12 | to read: |
13 | Section 528. Board of School Directors to Report Employe |
14 | Agreements Prior to Adoption.--(a) The board of school |
15 | directors of each school entity as defined in section 1101-A |
16 | shall submit a report detailing the tentative agreement for |
17 | public inspection and duplication to all persons who may |
18 | interest themselves, at least fifteen (15) days prior to voting |
19 | on a school employe contract. |
20 | (b) Fees for duplication as provided in subsection (a) shall |

1 | be consistent with section 687(a)(2)(ii). |
2 | (c) Contracts as provided in section 1121 shall be subject |
3 | to the provisions of this section. |
4 | Section 1128-A. Reporting of Agreements Prior to Adoption.-- |
5 | If at any time during contract negotiations the board of school |
6 | directors votes on an agreement in accordance with this article, |
7 | that agreement shall be reported according to section 528(a). |
8 | Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately. |
