| AN ACT |

1 | Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated |
2 | Statutes, repealing credit provisions relating to license |
3 | suspension for certain purposes. |
4 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
5 | hereby enacts as follows: |
6 | Section 1. Section 1541(a.1) of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania |
7 | Consolidated Statutes is amended to read: |
8 | § 1541. Period of disqualification, revocation or suspension of |
9 | operating privilege. |

11 | [(a.1) Credit toward serving period of suspension for |
12 | certain violations.--Credit toward serving the period of |
13 | suspension or revocation imposed for sections 1543(b)(1.1) |
14 | (relating to driving while operating privilege is suspended or |
15 | revoked), 3732 (relating to homicide by vehicle), 3735 (relating |
16 | to homicide by vehicle while driving under influence), 3735.1 |
17 | (relating to aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under |
18 | the influence), 3742 (relating to accidents involving death or |

2 | alcohol or controlled substance) and 3808(a)(2) (relating to |
3 | illegally operating a motor vehicle not equipped with ignition |
4 | interlock) shall not commence until the date of the person's |
5 | release from prison.] |
