| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Authorizing the Department of General Services, with the |
2 | approval of the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs |
3 | and the Governor, to grant and convey, at a price to be |
4 | determined through a competitive bid process, certain lands, |
5 | buildings and improvements situate in the City of Oil City, |
6 | Venango County. |
7 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
8 | hereby enacts as follows: |
9 | Section 1. Conveyance in City of Oil City, Venango County. |
10 | (a) Authorization.--The Department of General Services, with |
11 | the approval of the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs |
12 | and the Governor, is hereby authorized on behalf of the |
13 | Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to grant and convey, at a price to |
14 | be determined through competitive bidding, the following tract |
15 | of land together with any buildings, structures or improvements |
16 | thereon, situate in the City of Oil City, Venango County, |
17 | Pennsylvania. |
18 | (b) Description.--The property to be conveyed pursuant to |
19 | subsection (a) consists of approximately 0.23-acres and |
20 | building, bounded and more particularly described as follows: |

1 | ALL THAT CERTAIN tract of land situate in the Fifth Ward of |
2 | the City of Oil City, Venango County more particularly bounded |
3 | and described as follows: |
4 | BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of East Second Street and |
5 | State Street; thence Easterly along the Southerly side of East |
6 | Second Street, one hundred (100) feet; thence Southwardly at |
7 | right angles to said line of East Second Street, Ninety-nine and |
8 | ninety-two hundredths (99.92) feet to line of property conveyed |
9 | by Thomas M. Burk and wife to Edgar T. Eichner by deed dated |
10 | February 21, 1901, recorded in Deed Book Volume 253, Page 90; |
11 | thence Westwardly along said Eichner’s line, one hundred (100) |
12 | feet to the Easterly line of State Street aforesaid; thence |
13 | Northwardly and along said line of State Street, Ninety-nine and |
14 | ninety-two hundredths (99.92) feet to corner of East Second |
15 | Street, the place of BEGINNING. |
16 | BEING Tax Parcel No. 16-006-206. |
17 | BEING the same premises conveyed from Ida R. Magee, |
18 | unmarried, to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, by deed dated |
19 | June 6, 1914 and recorded July 10, 1914, in the County of |
20 | Venango, Pennsylvania, in Deed Book 333, Page 185. |
21 | (c) Easements and encumbrances.--The conveyance shall be |
22 | made under and subject to all lawful and enforceable easements, |
23 | servitudes and rights of others, including but not confined to |
24 | streets, roadways and rights of any telephone, telegraph, water, |
25 | electric, gas or pipeline companies, as well as under and |
26 | subject to any lawful and enforceable estates or tenancies |
27 | vested in third persons appearing of record, for any portion of |
28 | the land or improvements erected thereon. |
29 | (d) Deed of conveyance.--The deed of conveyance shall be by |
30 | Special Warranty Deed and shall be executed by the Secretary of |

1 | General Services in the name of the Commonwealth of |
2 | Pennsylvania. |
3 | (e) Proceeds.--The proceeds from the sale shall be deposited |
4 | in the State Treasury Armory Fund. |
5 | Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately. |
