| AN ACT |
| |
1 | Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania |
2 | Consolidated Statutes, further providing for indoor tanning. |
3 | The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania |
4 | hereby enacts as follows: |
5 | Section 1. Section 6311 heading of Title 18 of the |
6 | Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended and the section is |
7 | amended by adding a subsection to read: |
8 | § 6311. Tattooing [and], body piercing and indoor tanning. |

10 | (b.1) Indoor tanning.--A person commits an offense if the |
11 | person permits anyone under 18 years of age to utilize an indoor |
12 | tanning device without the parent or guardian of the individual |
13 | giving consent for the indoor tanning and being present at the |
14 | time of the indoor tanning of the individual. |
