INTRODUCED AS NONCONTROVERSIAL RESOLUTION UNDER RULE 35, JUNE 14, 2010  

A RESOLUTION

Designating June 15, 2010, as "Antique and Classic Car Day" in

Pennsylvania.

WHEREAS, Pennsylvania has a long history of motorsports of

all types; and

WHEREAS, The Commonwealth has benefited economically from the

longtime investments of a range of corporations that are

involved in the production and engineering of the wide variety

of motorsport vehicles used today; and

WHEREAS, Many people are purchasing antique and classic cars

to restore and protect their heritage as well as for the fun and

excitement of the ride; therefore be it

RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives designate June

15, 2010, as "Antique and Classic Car Day" in Pennsylvania.
