AN ACT
1 Amending Title 71 (State Government) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, providing for executive nominations.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Title 71 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
6 Statutes is amended by adding a part to read:

16 § 1301. Definitions.
17 The following words and phrases when used in this chapter
1 shall have the meanings given to them in this section unless the
2 context clearly indicates otherwise:
3 "Prohibited person." A person who has an ownership interest
4 in a casino located within this Commonwealth or who is applying
5 for a slot machine license.
6 § 1302. Prohibition.
7 Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Governor may
8 not nominate a prohibited person to a board or commission.
9 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
