AN ACT
1 Amending the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), entitled "An
2 act relating to the public school system, including certain
3 provisions applicable as well to private and parochial
4 schools; amending, revising, consolidating and changing the
5 laws relating thereto," in disruptive student programs,
6 further defining "applicant."
7 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
8 hereby enacts as follows:
9 Section 1. The definition of "applicant" in section 1901-
10 C(2) of the act of March 10, 1949 (P.L.30, No.14), known as the
11 Public School Code of 1949, added June 25, 1997 (P.L.297,
12 No.30), is amended to read:
13 Section 1901-C. Definitions.--For purposes of this article,
14 the following terms shall have the following meanings:

16 (2) "Applicant." A school district [or], a combination of
17 school districts [which] or a charter school that provides an
18 alternative education program within or to a chartering school
19 district or school districts as the central mission of its
1 charter and that applies for funds under this article.

3 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
