        REFERRED TO COMMITTEE ON FINANCE, NOVEMBER 2, 2007

                            A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION

     1  Memorializing Congress to make permanent the tax cuts which are
     2     set to expire in 2010.

     3     WHEREAS, Certain reductions in Federal taxation are set to
     4  expire in 2010; and
     5     WHEREAS, Reductions in Federal taxation are critical to the
     6  economy of this Commonwealth and to the welfare of the citizens
     7  of this Commonwealth; and
     8     WHEREAS, Reductions in Federal taxation should be continued
     9  and made permanent; therefore be it
    10     RESOLVED (the Senate concurring), That the General Assembly
    11  memorialize Congress to make permanent the reductions in Federal
    12  taxation which are set to expire in 2010; and be it further
    13     RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be transmitted to
    14  the presiding officers of each house of Congress and to each

     1  member of Congress from Pennsylvania.
