A RESOLUTION
1 Congratulating Dr. John A. Barrasso III upon his appointment to
2 represent the State of Wyoming as a United States Senator.
3 WHEREAS, To fill the unexpired term of Wyoming's Senator
4 Craig Thomas, who died June 4, 2007, while being treated for
5 leukemia, Governor Dave Freudenthal selected Dr. John A.
6 Barrasso III, an orthopedic surgeon and a member of the Wyoming
7 legislature; and
8 WHEREAS, Dr. Barrasso is a native of Reading, Pennsylvania,
9 and a nephew of the Honorable Thomas R. Caltagirone, a
10 representative member of this chamber; and
11 WHEREAS, The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has reason to be
12 proud of its son, Dr. John A. Barrasso III, for his outstanding
13 accomplishments and to congratulate him as he embarks upon this
14 chapter of continued service to the people of the State of
15 Wyoming and to all Americans; therefore be it
16 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the
17 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania congratulate Dr. John A. Barrasso
1 III upon his appointment to represent the State of Wyoming in
2 the United States Senate; and be it further
3 RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution be transmitted to
4 Dr. John A. Barrasso, 307 Dirksen Office Bldg., Washington, DC
5 20510-5003.
