AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for pedalcycle equipment.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Section 3507 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
6 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a subsection to read:
7 § 3507. Lamps and other equipment on pedalcycles.

9 (d) Permits for special uses.--A local authority may issue a
10 special permit for a pedalcycle which does not meet the
11 requirements of this section if the pedalcycle is designed for
12 use in competition or a special event. The local authority shall
13 establish appropriate limits for the use on a public highway of
14 a pedalcycle under this subsection.
15 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
