AN ACT
1 Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, defining the offense of inmate
3 tattooing; and prescribing a penalty.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 5123.1. Inmate tattooing.
9 An inmate confined in a State or county correctional
10 institution commits a misdemeanor of the third degree if the
11 inmate gives or receives a tattoo or is in possession of devices
12 or material used for tattooing.
13 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
