AN ACT
1 Amending Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the
2 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, further providing for
3 subpoena.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 6333 of Title 42 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 6333. Subpoena.
9 Upon application of a child, parent, guardian, custodian,
10 probation officer, district attorney, or other party to the
11 proceedings, the court, master, or the clerk of the court shall
12 issue, or the court or master may on its own motion issue,
13 subpoenas requiring attendance and testimony of witnesses and
14 production of papers at any hearing under this chapter. A copy
15 of the subpoena requiring attendance and testimony of a witness
16 who is under 18 years of age shall be issued to the parent,
17 guardian or other custodian of the witness in addition to the
1 issuance of the subpoena for the witness.
2 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
