AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Franklin Institute Science Museum
2 for maintenance expenses.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $699,000 $769,000 is hereby <--
6 appropriated to the Franklin Institute Science Museum,
7 Philadelphia, for the fiscal year July 1, 2006, to June 30,
8 2007, for the maintenance of the institute. No part of this
9 appropriation shall be used in support of the institute's
10 research laboratories.
11 Section 2. Payments to the Franklin Institute Science Museum
12 on account of the appropriation provided in section 1 shall be
13 made quarterly by the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania
14 Historical and Museum Commission.
15 Section 3. The Franklin Institute Science Museum shall
16 provide full, complete and accurate information as may be
1 required by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission or
2 the chairman or the minority chairman of the Appropriations
3 Committee of the Senate or the chairman or the minority chairman
4 of the Appropriations Committee of the House of Representatives.
5 Section 4. This act shall take effect July 1, 2006, or
6 immediately, whichever is later.
