AN ACT
1 Redesignating the Carey Avenue Bridge between Larksville Borough
2 and Hanover Township, Luzerne County, as the 1st Battalion,
3 109th Field Artillery PA Army National Guard Bridge.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Redesignating the Carey Avenue Bridge as the 1st
7 Battalion, 109th Field Artillery PA Army National
8 Guard Bridge.
9 (a) Redesignation.--The bridge on State Route 2005 over
10 Susquehanna River between Larksville Borough and Hanover
11 Township, Luzerne County, known as the Carey Avenue Bridge, is
12 redesignated as the 1st Battalion, 109th Field Artillery PA Army
13 National Guard Bridge.
14 (b) Signs.--The Department of Transportation shall erect and
1 maintain appropriate signs displaying the name of the bridge
2 redesignated in subsection (a), at each end of the bridge.
3 Section 2. Effective date.
4 This act shall take effect in 60 days.
