AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Fox Chase Institute for Cancer
2 Research, Philadelphia, for the operation and maintenance of
3 the cancer research program.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. The sum of $388,000 $776,000 is hereby <--
7 appropriated to the Fox Chase Institute for Cancer Research,
8 Philadelphia, for the fiscal year July 1, 2005, to June 30,
9 2006, for the operation and maintenance of the cancer research
10 program. Payment of this appropriation shall be made by the
11 Secretary of Health in equal quarterly payments.
12 Section 2. The Fox Chase Institute for Cancer Research shall
13 provide full, complete and accurate information as may be
14 required by the Department of Health or the chairman or the
15 minority chairman of the Appropriations Committee of the Senate
16 or the chairman or the minority chairman of the Appropriations
17 Committee of the House of Representatives.
1 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2005, or
2 immediately, whichever is later.
