AN ACT
1 Authorizing the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources
2 on behalf of the Commonwealth to agree to hold and save the
3 United States Army Corps of Engineers free from certain
4 damages arising from certain construction projects.
5 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
6 hereby enacts as follows:
7 Section 1. Hold harmless.
8 The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, acting
9 for and in the name of the Commonwealth, is authorized to agree
10 to hold and save the United States Army Corps of Engineers free
11 from all damages arising from construction, operation and
12 maintenance of projects along the Delaware Canal State Park
13 involving cooperative agreements between the Commonwealth and
14 the United States Army Corps of Engineers, except for any
15 damages due to the fault or negligence of the United States Army
16 Corps of Engineers.
17 Section 2. Effective date.
18 This act shall take effect immediately.
