AN ACT
1 Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania
2 Consolidated Statutes, providing for the offense of forcing a
3 person into a motor vehicle.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 2911. Forcing a person into a motor vehicle.
9 A person who forces a person into a motor vehicle without the
10 consent, express or implied, of the person, unless the
11 circumstances reasonably indicate that the person is in need of
12 assistance, commits a misdemeanor of the first degree.
13 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
