A RESOLUTION
1 Recognizing David L. Clark of Monaca and his musical composition
2 "We are the People."
3 WHEREAS, Drug use is a serious issue in communities
4 throughout this Commonwealth; and
5 WHEREAS, Addiction causes tremendous personal loss and
6 destruction for affected individuals, their families and their
7 communities; and
8 WHEREAS, Recovery and rehabilitation from addiction require
9 individual commitment, specialized treatment programs and social
10 support; and
11 WHEREAS, David L. Clark has written a song, "We are the
12 People," which celebrates diversity and resourcefulness in
13 addressing problems of addiction and ensuring treatment and
14 complete recovery; therefore be it
15 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize David
1 L. Clark for his composition "We are the People," set forth in
2 the Appendix and congratulate him on his efforts to provide hope
3 and encouragement to recovering addicts.
