AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation from the State Employees' Retirement
2 Fund to provide for expenses of the State Employees'
3 Retirement Board for the fiscal year July 1, 2001, to June
4 30, 2002, and for the payment of bills incurred and remaining
5 unpaid at the close of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2001.
6 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
7 hereby enacts as follows:
8 Section 1. The sum of $20,078,000, or as much thereof as may
9 be necessary, is hereby appropriated from the State Employees'
10 Retirement Fund to the State Employees' Retirement Board for the
11 payment of all salaries, wages and other compensation and travel
12 expenses of the employees and members of the State Employees'
13 Retirement Board, for contractual services and other expenses
14 necessary for the proper conduct of the duties, functions and
15 activities of the board for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
16 2001, and for the payment of bills incurred and remaining unpaid
17 at the close of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2001.
18 Section 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2001, or
19 immediately, whichever is later.
