AN ACT
1 Amending the act of March 9, 1927 (P.L.24, No.13), entitled "An
2 act authorizing counties singly, or two or more counties
3 acting together, to purchase land and erect buildings
4 thereon, or to erect or add to and improve buildings already
5 erected on lands owned by a county, for an institution for
6 the detention of delinquent women sentenced to imprisonment
7 for one year or less; and regulating the establishment,
8 management and maintenance of such institutions, and the
9 reception, treatment, training, employment and instruction of
10 inmates therein, and the transfer of delinquent women from
11 county prisons thereto or to other institutions in certain
12 cases," deleting provisions relating to administration by
13 county prison authorities, for transfer of prisoners from
14 other counties and for earnings of inmates.
15 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
16 hereby enacts as follows:
17 Section 1. Sections 5, 6 and 9 of the act of March 9, 1927
18 (P.L.24, No.13), referred to as the County Institution for
19 Delinquent Women Law, are repealed.
20 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
