           LEMMOND, MUSTO, WENGER, SCHWARTZ, BOSCOLA AND HART,
           SEPTEMBER 27, 1999

        INTRODUCED AND ADOPTED, SEPTEMBER 27, 1999

                                  A RESOLUTION

     1  Designating the week of October 4 through 9, 1999, as "Bank
     2     Teller Recognition Week" in Pennsylvania.

     3     WHEREAS, Bank tellers serve a vital function in this nation's
     4  economy and serve millions of people daily throughout this
     5  country; and
     6     WHEREAS, Bank tellers often work long hours while performing
     7  complex and indispensable services for our citizens and
     8  businesses; and
     9     WHEREAS, Bank tellers deserve special recognition and rewards
    10  for their efforts; therefore be it
    11     RESOLVED, That the Senate designate the week of October 4
    12  through 9, 1999, as "Bank Teller Recognition Week" in
    13  Pennsylvania and encourage all Pennsylvanians to recognize the
    14  vital services performed by bank tellers.
