AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to the Whitaker Center for Science and
2 the Arts in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. The sum of $110,000 $121,000 is hereby <--
6 appropriated to the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts in
7 Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, for the fiscal year July 1, 1999, to
8 June 30, 2000, for operating expenses, including maintenance and
9 the purchase of apparatus, supplies and equipment.
10 Section 2. Payment to the Whitaker Center for Science and
11 the Arts on account of the appropriation provided in section 1
12 shall be made quarterly by the Executive Director of the
13 Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
14 Section 3. The Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts
15 shall provide full, complete and accurate information as may be
16 required by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission or
1 the chairman or the minority chairman of the Appropriations
2 Committee of the Senate or the chairman or the minority chairman
3 of the Appropriations Committee of the House of Representatives.
4 Section 4. This act shall take effect July 1, 1999, or
5 immediately, whichever is later.
