AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing for an Arts registration plate.
3 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
4 hereby enacts as follows:
5 Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
6 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
7 § 1359.1. Arts registration plate.
8 The department, in consultation with the Pennsylvania Council
9 on the Arts, shall design an Arts registration plate. Upon
10 application of any person, accompanied by a fee of $35 which
11 shall be in addition to the annual registration fee, the
12 department shall issue the plate for a passenger car, motor
13 home, trailer or truck with a registered gross weight of not
14 more than 9,000 pounds. The Pennsylvania Council on the Arts
15 shall receive $15 of the additional registration fee paid by the
16 applicant for the plate.
17 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
