A RESOLUTION 1 Recognizing and supporting the Chester County Flower Show. 2 WHEREAS, The Chester County Flower Show will be staged on 3 April 22 through 25, 1999, at QVC Studio Park in West Chester; 4 and 5 WHEREAS, The event like no other captures images of Chester 6 County, William Penn's "Greene County"; and 7 WHEREAS, Much more than a horticultural exposition, the 8 show's ambience promotes a lively and informative exchange of 9 ideas and creative energies among a diverse group ranging from 10 novice gardeners to professional horticulturists; and 11 WHEREAS, Regardless of background, all attendees celebrate 12 Chester County's yet unspoiled landscape, steeped in history and
1 tradition and full of promise for the future; and 2 WHEREAS, This renowned event is a remarkable expression of 3 civic and community pride, as well as an unsurpassed educational 4 experience for people of all ages; and 5 WHEREAS, This outstanding show and the legion of tireless, 6 unselfish volunteers who perform countless public and behind- 7 the-scene services merit acknowledgment; therefore be it 8 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives recognize and 9 support the Chester County Flower Show and commend the many 10 volunteers who make it possible.
