AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, providing special registration plates for U.S.S.
3 Olympiad.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Title 75 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
7 Statutes is amended by adding a section to read:
8 § 1360. U.S.S. Olympiad commemorative registration plate.
9 (a) Plate.--The department shall design a U.S.S. Olympiad
10 commemorative registration plate. Upon application of any
11 person, accompanied by a fee of $35 which shall be in addition
12 to the annual registration fee, the department shall issue the
13 plate for a passenger car, motor home, trailer or truck with a
14 registered gross weight of not more than 9,000 pounds.
15 (b) Payment of fee.--Of each fee paid under subsection (a),
16 $15 shall be deposited into the U.S.S. Olympiad Account, which
17 is established as a special account.
18 Section 2. This act shall take effect in 60 days.
