AN ACT
1 Making an appropriation to The Children's Institute, Pittsburgh.
2 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
3 hereby enacts as follows:
4 Section 1. The sum of $770,000 is hereby appropriated to The
5 Children's Institute, Pittsburgh, for the fiscal year July 1,
6 1998, to June 30, 1999, in accordance with procedures
7 established by the Secretary of Health. Payment of this
8 appropriation shall be made by the Secretary of Health in equal
9 quarterly payments.
10 Section 2. The Children's Institute shall provide full,
11 complete and accurate information as may be required by the
12 Department of Health or the majority chairman or the minority
13 chairman of the Appropriations Committee of the Senate or the
14 majority chairman or the minority chairman of the Appropriations
15 Committee of the House of Representatives.
16 Section 3. This act shall take effect July 1, 1998, or
17 immediately, whichever is later.
