AN ACT
1 Prohibiting certain grantees of Commonwealth funds from
2 relocating outside this Commonwealth; and requiring repayment
3 of certain grant moneys.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Job creation grant provision.
7 (a) General rule.--No person who receives Commonwealth funds
8 from a grant agreement entered into between the person and the
9 Commonwealth for the purpose of job creation may relocate its
10 operations, in whole or in part, outside this Commonwealth
11 within a period of three years from the receipt of those funds.
12 Such person shall notify the Commonwealth of a decision to
13 relocate within that time period and shall repay the full amount
14 of the funds 60 days prior to the relocation.
15 (b) Enforcement.--The Attorney General shall enforce
16 compliance with this act.
1 Section 2. Effective date.
2 This act shall take effect in 60 days.
