AN ACT
1 Amending Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the
2 Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, further providing for an
3 order of probation.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 9771(a) of Title 42 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
8 § 9771. Modification or revocation of order of probation.
9 (a) General rule.--The court may at any time terminate
10 continued supervision or lessen or increase the conditions upon
11 which an order of probation has been imposed. The court may,
12 with the written agreement of the defendant, extend the time
13 period of the probation to enable the defendant to comply with
14 the conditions of the probation.
