AN ACT
1 Amending Title 75 (Vehicles) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated
2 Statutes, further providing for additional turnpike extension
3 authorizations.
4 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
5 hereby enacts as follows:
6 Section 1. Section 8912 of Title 75 of the Pennsylvania
7 Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding a paragraph to read:
8 § 8912. Subsequent extension authorizations.
9 The commission is also hereby authorized and empowered to
10 construct, operate and maintain further extensions and
11 improvements of the turnpike at such specific locations and
12 according to such schedules as shall be deemed feasible and
13 which shall be approved by the commission, subject to the waiver
14 of the Federal toll prohibition provisions where applicable, as
15 follows:

17 (2.1) Construct an interchange on the Northeast
1 Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike System between the
2 Norristown and Quakertown Interchanges.

4 Section 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
